Happy Mother's Day!!

Here are the Mother's Day cards I made this year (I always have to make three of them!!) Sometimes I cheat and just make them all the same but this year I got my sponge out and just went crazy!!

The two main sets I used are: Petal Prints, Serene Spring

Mother's Day Card

I made this card for my mom-in-law for Mother's Day. The flowers I stamped in brown instead of black and I used water color pencils. I sponged the edges in the same brown as the image was stamped in then mounted on the burgandy cs and then onto the card.

I love the icicle brads that everyone has come out with. The one here is from Stampin' Up!.

Mother's Day Gift

Here's a booklet I made for my mom for Mother's Day. I started out with a picture she gave me (I scanned it so I wouldn't lose the original) of her and I the day I was born, then I added some pictures of me growing up and ended with a picture of my daughter and me the day my daughter was born.

It's short but sweet. I still don't like the way it closes but I haven't been able to come up with any better ideas....how about you?
